Kerr returns with Creation at Spa
Robbie Kerr rejoins the Creation Aim LMP1 team this weekend in the 1000 Kilometres of Spa, for the third round of the 2008 Le Mans Series. Kerr will once again drive alongside Stuart Hall in the #15 Creation entry. Kerr and the team will be hoping they can repeat the strong form they showed at the previous round in Monza, after narrowly missing out on a podium on the last lap of the race.
Kerr commented ahead of this weekends race, “I’m really glad to be back in the Creation car and I’m looking forward to the weekend. Spa is a fantastic circuit and the car should suit it, so we are looking to be competitive. We were so close to getting a podium during the last race and that was the first time the car had been out on track, so now we will really work on developing the car and being quicker this weekend.”
Since the previous LMS round in Monza two weeks ago, Kerr has been busy racing in the A1GP series at Brands Hatch, where he scored a pole position and a victory for his nation. Now with little time for a break between races, Kerr will be back in the Creation prototype for first practice this Friday, before qualifying Saturday afternoon. The Spa 1000km race will kick off on Sunday at Midday and will be live on Motors TV and Eurosport.
